Fallingbrook Family Festival(CBC news shoutout) was a resounding success with many students, staff and parents dressed in traditional clothing and celebrating with heritage dolls/dudes, totem poles, and crests as well as samples of food and country displays that lined the halls. Fallingbrook welcomed the Toaist Tai Chi Association with demonstrations before the fashion show and the cultural songs performed by school choirs. The evening ended on a high note with the singing of O'Canada and eating of a Canada 'cake of cupcakes' as participants basked in the glow of cultural inclusiveness!

Fallingbrook grade 7 & 8 students met author Kathy Kacer via teleconference to discuss ideas for her new book focusing on social justice and the holocaust.
